Got Questions?

Church of the Way is doing a series starting in April called "Preacher, I've got a question."  It's about the questions that people always want to ask about God, the Church, the Bible, Jesus or just Life.  We want to shape it around the real questions of the community, so we need your help.  We're going to take the best and most often used questions for the series and answer the rest through this blog.  What questions do you want answered?  Feel free to reply in the comments and be anonymous if you like!

Weird question, and probably totally silly, but I always wondered: since Joseph wasn't Jesus's biological father, why does the family line in Matthew 1 trace to him instead of talking about Mary's family line?

how do you keep faith, your beliefs, when a marriage fails? you spend your time trying to save it, and you pray ask the lord to touch the other person, do you look at it as the other person cant be touched by him or they dont want to listen to him?

The only way to be saved is through Jesus, but can you reach Jesus outside of the Church?

Will we know our loved ones in heaven. If not, why would God create us to love so deeply and then take those relationships away?

When we die do we go straight to heaven or are we in limbo until Jesus returns to earth?

As large of an event you would think the creation and demise of dinosaurs are, why no mention of dinosaurs in the Bible?

Resent results show Christianity though the largest religion is only followed by 33% of the population.

How is 67% of the population wrong?

There are estimates that there's upwards of 41,000 Christian based denominations/sub groups. Though most have the same base ideology there's many differences between even the larger of the denominations.

If all these groups are supposed to be based around the same principles of the Bible, why are there so many differences?

Example. Jehova Witnesses believe exactly 144,000 have been preselected to go to heaven.
